I’m on my way to Savannah, Georgia, to host this year’s Ocean Exchange Conference, a global innovation conference which awards two prizes for great, market-ready ideas for sustainable development. It’s a fascinating conference, with ten finalists presenting their work for review by a group of about 150 delegates from corporate, academic and scientific fields — and this business writer. After each couple of presentations, the delegates caucus in small groups and compare notes. So it’s great to get your impression of a what looks like a great idea and then have your ideas validated–or corrected–by experts who can analyze the science and business prospects.
